【Josh

说远了,各位同学请随我看一下雅思官方口语评分标准,在“单词L&R”里面7分标准的一项评分细则:“Uses some less common and idiomatic vocabulary and shows some awareness of style and collocation”
现在考试热题"tell me about your favourite fruit",在大家都说"banana, apple"的时候,你能用“jackfruit”和其他考生拉开层次,那一定就是高分了。
As to me, housework has been a clockwork for me everyday, since I rented my own apartment.(Part 1 housework)
I would never thought such a grass roots project could draw public attention, even some from celebrities. We were all so excited about this!(Part 2 A group project)
rock the boat–改变现状
By winning this dreaming prize, I will definitely rock the boat. People will look at me with new eyes! (Part 2 A prize you want to win)
It is a bitter truth that I have to be friendly with her no matter how much I hate her. That's the untold rules in my department. (Part 2 A person you didn't like but have to be friendly with)
I have to do something to make a change about my shape and weight. My mom said I wouldn't need a mirror because one won't be enough if I carry on gain weight like this. So I have made myself a exercise timetable. Avoid making those ambitious tasks, I try to take small, reliable steps. ( Part 2 A thing that is good for health)
on the verge of doing–在…
I hate this subject, it's a pain in my ass. Not only because it is complicated and troublesome, but also for my teacher who taught me biology. I am always on the verge of skipping the class when she begins the class for at most 5 minutes. ( Part 2 A subject you didn't like but like it now.)
